Financial Information

Playgroup and Preschool Fees

Under Three Playgroup Fees

  • $100 per child per term for one morning per week.
  • $175 per child per term for two mornings per week.

Preschool Application Fee

  • A non-refundable application fee is payable when applying to enrol in the preschool. This enables your child to be placed on the waiting list. The application fee is $85 for your first child and $25 for siblings. This fee does not guarantee placement.

Preschool Fees

  • Monday – Friday 8.45am to 3.00pm: $1017 per term
  • A place in the preschool is for 31.25 hours a week, whether you fully utilise this or not. 20 hours ECE government funding covers 20 hours each week; the fee for the remaining hours is $1017 per term.

  • A bond of $500 is required when a new family commences at Wā Ora with a preschool child. The $500 bond is offset against the final term fee when the last child in the family leaves the preschool, at age six. Should the last child in a family leave before they turn six, the bond is non-refundable.

  • Primary School Donation: $795 per term (Monday – Friday 9:00am to 3.00pm)
  • High School Donation: $850 per term (Monday – Friday 9:00am to 3.15pm)

As a state-integrated school, Wā Ora is able to offer an authentic Montessori education to our students more affordably than anywhere else in the world.

While the area school payment is a donation, it is necessary to ensure our school can offer your child an authentic Montessori programme. Our parent donations are a testament to our commitment to providing our tamariki with the best possible education. By supporting our kura financially, we contribute to its continued growth and excellence. Donations help us to train our teachers in the Montessori method, purchase specialist Montessori equipment, and ensure our beautiful buildings are kept current with the needs of our ākonga.

Every dollar donated makes a tangible difference in the lives of our tamariki.

  • Activities Contribution: $50 – $65 per term

These cover expenses such as paper stationery, transport and entry charges for class trips, workshop educators, etc
