Preschool is the foundation of a Montessori education. We offer a full programme for children aged three to six years.

Our preschool programme is designed to support your child’s growing curiosity and encourage them to explore and learn with the guidance of qualified Montessori teachers. The preschool learning environment has specially designed Montessori materials to engage your child to make discoveries and develop their concentration, motivation and self-discipline. Your child will learn to cooperate with children of different ages and to respect and celebrate the efforts of others. They will also learn to take care of themselves, others and their environment.

We offer before school care from 8am and after school care until 5pm to accommodate busy families. We also offer a school holiday programme for our preschoolers which runs in each two-week holiday between terms, but not over the long summer break.

Our preschool classrooms are called Pōhutukawa, Rewarewa, Nīkau and Kōwhai.
