Montessori Lead Teacher for Y8–10 (adolescent) programme (permanent)
Wā Ora Montessori School caters for approximately 300 children from 18 months to 18 years in Lower Hutt, New Zealand.
We require a teacher who has a passion for the adolescent (year 8–10). We need a teacher with the ability to teach both Humanities (English/Social Studies/History) and Occupations (Science/Maths) up to year 10. This position would suit an experienced teacher with proven leadership capability. You will lead a team of year 8–10 teachers and report to the DP of the high school. Overseas Montessori adolescent training will be required and supported.
Lower Hutt is just 30 minutes away from the capital city of New Zealand. Wellington was voted the “Coolest Little Capital in the World” and is close to bush walks, lovely beaches, beautiful scenery, a great cultural scene and some of the world’s best coffee.
